MY BIGGEST SURPRISE DURING fULBRIGHT

My biggest surprise is : 1.Why am I covering myself much when everybody else is just in skirts, shorts and T shirts?? 2. Students do not have a uniform , they are free to choose their dresses to wear. Also I never thought meeting people with different cultures would be this easy . I am taken away with the love and acceptance they have shown towards me.

My Fulbright Experiences

My Fulbright journey has been nothing short of transformative. As an Indian, the opportunity to represent my country and connect with scholars from 23 different nations has been an experience that deeply enriched both my academic and personal life. The program’s diverse community is a true reflection of the global world we live in. Every conversation, every collaboration, and even every difference of opinion opened my eyes to new perspectives, challenging my assumptions and broadening my understanding of not only global issues but also of the shared human experiences that unite us all. The cultural exchange was one of the highlights of the journey. I shared parts of Indian culture, traditions, and stories, while also immersing myself in the histories, customs, and practices of my peers from countries as varied as Ghana, Urugay, Nepal.
